KRATOR "The Man of High Sophia" is my project, still work in progress, for my graduation in October 2026. in the AEC Concept Art Program in Syn Studios, Montreal, Canada.
"High Sophia" is the realm of Adik Dantisis. From here, he rules over it. This structure is one of the most prestigious buildings in Parome City, and only one with an absurd amount of money can acquire it.
The production wanted to get two different goals: to show an overview of Parome City using the building with the name of this IP as the main focus. Due to the scale of the location, from the beginning, this project was considered as a quarter or a module of Parome City.
Art Deco Buildings were the main inspiration, getting some brutalism for the lower areas. The structure is divided in three stages: the Undercity (where poor people live), the Main Levels (where servants do their lives), and the Noble level (where the rulers stay).
After getting the references, the work started in 2D in three directions: style of buildings, overview of the module of skyscrapers, and composition for the final key-frame.
Once the design was gotten, a 3D model in Blender of the module was made in order to do some illumination test for studying the mood to communicate. When once was chosen, textures were applied. The final step was to over-paint and post-process the different pieces in Photoshop.
