“The Blast Event” is one of the most traumatic experiences for the two youths. When the soldier killed Laerela’s adoptive father in the ruins of their attacked village, she became enraged, which transformed the place into a nightmare of lights and wind.
Translated extract from my novel:
Laerela shouted her father’s name with a desolation never befallen in humanity history. Her appearance made tense with a timeless helplessness which became fixed in the reality essence itself. Hate and pain ripped the veil of what’s absolute.
The youth boy tried to grab the girl again, but something unusual happened. Air sparked, ambient was charged.
–What the heck is “that”? –yelled the murderer.
Semárel was shattered by a ubiquitous hot. A gale appeared in his surrounding while a burnt smell mistreated his nose. Raising all his strength, he looked up to Laerela.
That was impossible.
She was levitating.
The girl was floating over a certain height with an expression of actual anger, ferocious spite. Her boots soles burst in a burning flare-up that melt the debris below her feet in an incandescent magma. Her hood moved back for showing, in her entirety splendor, the beauty of a being much more dazzling than sun.
Everything shone: hair, skin, even air around her. The day was eclipsed by a brightness of extraordinary power.
Suddenly, she lifted her palm hands.
–Shoot, shoot! –someone commanded.
And, among the racket of detonations, she exploded in light.
